Good evening! Newbie here also ... To the forum and relatively to CI. I actually had a few very old pieces gifted to me by former inlaws, and regretfully, I left them behind in my house oven when I moved, and the person who cleaned my house after I moved tossed them. My heart aches thinking about it, as I know at least one of them was very old, and they had been given to me with much love. I just didn't get to use them all to often.

I am just rebuilding my CI collection (for actual cooking vs display), and stumbled upon this site when trying to educate myself about CI, as I really didn't know me about it when I had my old set.

I have a couple vintage pans (I don't really want new pieces), and picked up an old two burner griddle just this past weekend at an antique store in western NC. It was seasoned and just needed a cleaning. I put it to its first use this morning making bacon, French toast and eggs. It rewarded me with a super delicious breakfast, and I had to snap a pic.

Really appreciate the wealth of information on here, and look forward to learning more.

Welcome to the site. We like photos of all the eye candy. Something is missing in your photo. You need some Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, to go with your French toast.:glutton:

I know where you can purchase some, made here on our farm. :icon_thumbsup:

Thanks Jeff. I love syrup so maybe I should find out where to order that from so I can trade in my Aunt Jemima. My small NC town doesn't have much in the way of syrup options. :(

Sorry but Aunt Jemima is not syrup, it's toxic. Read the ingredients.

Ingredients in our Pure Maple Syrup yup, just maple syrup.:glutton:

PM me your email address, will send you the info.
