Griswold question

I have a #8 Griswold DO p/n 1295. It came with a lid p/n 1288 which appears not to be a match. The BB page 66, shows this pan with a glass lid but does not give a p/n. Can one of you Griswold fans tell me the p/n for the correct cover? Were all the covers glass or were there CI covers also?

Thanks for any help

The p/n listing in the back of the book describes that DO (no bail, holes in handles). I don't see a lid p/n in the list that appears to specifically be a match for it.

The only ones I see on eBay with lids have 1288s on them. BB dates the 1295 1940s-1959. It's possible it could have come with either (or have been used with either) depending on when it was sold.

Thank you Bonnie. That is the enameled version of the pan I have. The BB says the glass lids had the button logo so the one in the link you posted is in all liklihood the correct one.

PS: That is the first time I've ever seen a picture of that lid. I didn't know they were out there.
