Any Guesses?

Hey All!
I hope all is well,

I recently picked this super crusty CI, and going to try to clean it up this weekend, any guesses of the age and who made this pan before it gets cleaned of all that muck?

There are no markings that I could find currently

Hey All!

I apologize for the slow response! Two eight-hour shifts in the tank and a week of lye- and overall, we cleaned up pretty well- the cooking surface is super smooth, but the bottom as you can see has become pretty pitted out....

The only marking that I could find was the "8" underneath all of that crud. there was an interesting rectangle on the bottom....

Any idea of the general age or value of these types of pans?

Mid to late 1800s. I have a couple similar. $5 for the one that started out as a rust bomb but cleaned up great, ~$20 for a W.C. Davis. I don't see any reason to pay crazy prices for examples of these.
