New Here and Some What New to Restoring Cast Iron

So, my daughter gave me this pot, it was her husbands grandmothers. she was 96 when she passed, she has lived on the property her entire life.

Does anyone have any idea's how old or what brand it is ?

Old Gate Marked pieces are hard to identify. Someone with more experience than myself may be able to give you some insight. But I can tell you it's a great piece and the lids on those are harder to find than the ovens. Also they will be able to help you better if you include the whole pot and lid top and bottom instead of close ups. But a close up of where the bail attaches to the oven is also helpful.
