Found this beautiful skillet last weekend. I could actually see some of those beautiful mill marks in the cooking surface through the seasoning. After a nice dip in the lye bath I cleaned it up today and noticed a few strange things. Marked like a Vollrath with the '8', but there is no dimple below the '8'. Also, there seems to be a dash in front of the eight and a plus sign behind the eight. Then I noticed the ghosted 'Vollrath'. Can you see it in the pic? Also thought the handle reinforcement sconce at the skillet was a little strange as well as the marks around the pour spouts. The skillet does not have the heat ring like Vollrath usually has either.... Has anyone ever seen such a sight?
