Default Camp Oven

Found this old gate marked camp oven on a recent road trip. Hard to decide what era it was made in (possibly mid to late 1800's). The feet are "D" shaped and the ears look to be of the middle 1800's per the Gray Book. The raised lettering "markings" look similar to an early Lodge but the ears do not correlate to Lodge. Lid handle also has me puzzled.
If anyone has any clues I would appreciate any info.
