I thought all BSRs had a ridge under the handle that went all the way to the pan. Any idea when it was made? It has bigger pore spouts then my later BSR pan. Thanks, C.J. |

Could it be a copy? The handle isn't right, like you thought C.J., but everything else does say BSR. It's pre-1960 so the handle ridge should go to the body of the pan.

If it is a copy, it is an excellent one. The casting is every bit as good as my REAL BSR in my second post. C.J. |

Do I remember someone saying the flat spots on the handle were Wagner or when BSR subbed out some work to Lodge? Something.
