This one seems to be rather unusual... I knew it was some sort of double skillet combo top right away, but I wasn't sure who made it and it was a cheap gamble. I kind of recalled martin made one with tabs like this to hold the top skillet in place on top of the other skillet... but I'm now pretty sure this is a lodge made piece.
anybody got any more info? specifically what the bottom was. did it just sit on a normal chicken fryer? or was there some special bottom that I'll never find? Also, any thoughts on how 'rare' or 'hard to find' this piece is?
not done cleaning yet, but it was clean enough to get some pics... no markings other than the raised letter 'F' in the hanging hole area.
