How can you tell for sure if a griswold #8 is regular cast or if it had the chrome added to it? Got it stripped down and its not shiny like dull chrome but it also looks brighter than regular cast. It is the skillet I have in this post http://www.castironcollector.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7797 Having an issue getting the skillet to take new seasoning, lid is fine though.
