Default Early Single Notch Lodge

I think this is an early single notch Lodge. I got it in a large lot I bought last fall that I have been slowly sorting through and restoring. Have not touched this one.

I'll avoid the term "possible BL" in an attempt to avoid a public flogging. Imperfection in bottom at about 3 o'clock. Any signs you guys see that indicate something else?

Looks to me to be a perfect example of a 1930's unmarked Lodge as described in the "Cast Iron Collecting" -> "Identifying No-Name Iron" section of this site.

I had reviewed that and the pic in that section threw me and led me to believe it was possibly something earlier. After re-reading it more carefully after your comment, you may be right.

The bottom texture and size marking are identical. No Signs of a Arc logo on mine though, and it appears yours doesn't have a maker's mark. Interesting...

Underside of handle is a different design as well.
