Default Dutch Oven Find

I found this Descoware Dutch Oven today. I donít know about this brand but it was clean, no chips, and in fantastic shape. It was also only 7.19. Itís quite light and I admit to liking it a lot. Anyone know anything about it?

Descoware stands for D E Sanford Company. He was American who imported ECI from Belgium for sales in the US. Julia Child endorsed it. Le Creuset bought them in the 1970's if I'm not mistaken.

It is nice. I have one, and it is lighter to me than the other ECI that I have. You will probably make it your 'go to' DO. There is a page on the main site that talks about the company.

They were excellent quality in the day and still stand quite well with the new ones now. I have one sauce pan I used often and Iím on the hunt for a few more of their items.

Bonnie has a number of pieces and seems to be lucky finding those, in my opinion they are well worth having in the kitchen to use.

Thumbs up Re: Dutch Oven Find

It looks in great shape too. No chips. I can never find one without chips.
