![]() cast iron has been few and far between for months. Fortunately, I located a pie shaped logo Wagner Ware Sidney -O- #3 skillet. Cook surface is smooth without cracks or scars.... the heat surface is wobble free and has age appropriate patina. I dig it... a lucky find . Will replace my two later era Wagner #3 skillets. I gave $5. Keep looking ! Charles https://imgur.com/a/qVv1WEt |

Mike,
I lack the metallurgic skills to differentiate. It feels as though it weighs the same as my other Wagner Ware Sidney -O- #3 skillet (later logo). I do not see anything that would lead me to expect nickel but that is an uninformed guess. Maybe someone here with knowledge of what to look for could chime in. Charles upon closer exam I can see why you asked ... I defer to the experts. |

Thank you Doug. If it is nickel it will be a first for me. I need to research
this a bit as my knowledge base is lacking regarding nickel plated cast iron. Charles Doug.. just found your resource page . Thank you for the information. Last edited by CDLaine; 01-13-2021 at 07:19 PM. Reason: new info... |

Just struck me as plated. The one I had was far darker, but I guess we will see! Either way, I like the pie logos!
