Default New Lodge Question

I have two lodge griddles and one has an 8 under the lodge emblem and under that it has USA 90G.. My other is the same but has a 5 between the emblem and the USA 90G. I was at a store recently and looked at the same 90G griddle as mine and it had a 3 on it. Just curious what the number represents. Thanks

That's actually 9 OG, for size 9 Old-style Griddle. Any other numeral would be an identifier of the pattern that made the mold used to cast that individual pan.
