What is This?

Saw this yesterday and it was advertised as a "serving tray" Any ideas? It measures 9" x 1" x 19 3/4". On one side of the handle are two "0's" and on the other handle is a J inside a diamond with a 7 on the outer part of the handle. Next post will show these.

It's a sad iron heater. Would have been placed over two adjacent stove eyes with a bridging piece removed. Sometimes called and perhaps could have been used as a fish frying pan, but was not its intended use.

Similar in shape and size are what are called "long pans", which typically have a pour spout at one corner, and which were used for cooking. Lodge made what it called a "shallow long pan" which looked in most respects like their sad iron heater, only not as deep; Griswold called theirs an "oval griddle".
