Looks like enamel to me. Generally its not recommended to cook in products with damaged enamel, but I could be wrong. Any ideas on the maker?

I have seen these marked "Favorite Piqua Ware", But this says Favorite Cook Ware should I take this pan to be made by CHF after they acquired all the Favorite tooling/patterns? Any info...

National Star Skillet

Hello, the production date for these is a large range, any thoughts on this ones age? Its dead flat and is very lightweight, I like it!
