Re: Wagner Stack

Many of the smaller ons up through 10 all work great. Waiting for an opportunity to take the big ones for a spin. My fiancé say chicken paprikash will do in them. Got to get through the Covid 19.

Here is a marked Volrath to compare yours to! Not a smooth bottom but handle and location will help.

Re: Massive Griddle Estate Stove Co

Wow! Might have been a restraunt griddle? That is a beast. Would cover my whole stove top. I guess if you had a big family it would be quick for making lots of pancakes or french toast.

Re: #4 Skillets

#4 size skillets are very scarse in my area and I buy them when I see them. I have 3, one Wagner smooth bottom 1054 which the cook surface is pitted and I would like to get a nicer on for my stack....

Re: Sad, Sad, Sad...

That is a total bummer! I have a Erie #7 chrome that was the same way! Cleaned it and was looking great and cracked down the side. I still rings like a bell and I cook eggs in it.

Re: Goodwill Griswold #8

Sometimes that is what happens! It rings like a bell only to have a small crack in the side of the pan covered in seasoning gunk. LOL Great price though.

Re: Painted Mail Pouch Tobacco Skillet - ID Maker, Please

Looks a little bit like the Griswold/Wagner aquisition era pan. The spouts are small but the handle shape and number resemble Griswold.

Re: Can We Identify an Old Chicken Fryer?

Looks similar to my Lodge raised numbers. The lid pattern is the stumper for me in I have not seen that pattern before.
