Re: Wagner Ware Sidney -o- C/n Marking 1052 Skillet

Not really hard to find but there again a #2 usually means big bucks. A four digit (1052) list for about $100 to $125 in the BB. If its a smooth bottom and no warpage or pitting it may very well...

Re: Help with Value

There are 15 variations of the #10, 948 pan. Hard to value your piece not knowing which variation you have. The YB has values from $25 to $150.
These pans were made from 1880's to 1950's

Re: Looking for Help Identifying This Square Pan

If you google "Canadian cast iron" there are several that pop up on Pinterest (both round and square).
Consensus has it that it is Asian and would agree that it is NOT Wagner.
My guess it's Korean...

Re: Griswold Made Rev-O-Noc Waffle Iron

Thought I had posted a previous thread regarding the Rev-O-Noc history but didn't find it in my previous post so here is the history of the HSB Co. that peddled the Rev-o-Noc brand with dates....

Re: Stainless Steel E-tank Question

If you have a lot of copper (connections to the anode and piece being cleaned) that are submersed into the solution there will be a greenish tint to the solution. This may or may not be your problem....

Camp Oven

Found this old gate marked camp oven on a recent road trip. Hard to decide what era it was made in (possibly mid to late 1800's). The feet are "D" shaped and the ears look to be of the middle 1800's...

We have several #6 WW Pans and the six (6) has a curved outer edge exactly as the 6 shown in this post. The pan you are referencing has a flat top even though the parts seem to blend together and...

It's the top half of the Wagner Ware 5 star skillet set....circ.1941. The part you're missing has the WW logo and the cat. No 1403.

Plett Pan/ Alfred Andresen

Picked up this Plett Pan today at the swap meet (P/N 2980) made by Griswold, 1900's 1910 per the YB. Was wondering if Griswold made the 2980 pan before the No.34 Plett Pan which are Griswold marked...

Re: What is This?

SJ. Just from what I can make out from your pic, it appears that your square skillet is a BSR. With that being said (and for the most part of all square skillets) they are much harder to clean...

Re: What is This?

SJ, Being in St. Paul, Min. is probably some of the problem (not that you can up and move to clean your CI) but cold temp's reduce the effectiveness of the lye solution. Since it appears that you...

Re: Griswold #10 Small Logo

Each to his own so to speak. I have been using Grapeseed Oil for over 5 years and no complaints at all. It has a "high" smoke point and is made from 100% seeds from grapes "NO ADDITIVES". Because of...

Re: Wards Cast Aluminum

You're correct about it being thin metal. The spout is formed as part of the body of the kettle and only the handle attachment is riveted to the kettle which I thought it was a cast piece. I was just...

Re: Griswold #14 Bailed Handle Skillet

No apologies necessary. Was just getting ready to say for a bailed #14 Griswold the $999 price would be a bargain. I was VERY lucky to walk away with the one I found and it was more than $999 lol.

Griswold #14 Bailed Handle Skillet

Was just wondering if anyone can verify if the Bailed #14 Griswold Skillet had a cover (lid) and if so did it just have the single "lid lip" at the 12 o'clock pour spout position? The BB doesn't...

Re: Best Find of My New Two Month Old Passion

The lid is Wagner apx. 1950's and it's also a Dutch Oven lid and not a skillet lid. Lid value about $40.
The large logo Griswold #9 around $50 depending on where you test the waters.
