Blame It on the Rain.....

off to the side (with a sticker for $30)....

Ha ! couldn't help but notice the various spellings of "cookwear".

Cast Iron Care Insert & Griddle & Lid...

I thought this may be worthy of sharing...

I was gifted a 10 " skillet lid and a double sided
griddle with case. Inside the case the owner had thought
it worthy to place the cast iron care...

A Little Help Please with I.D. and Era....

On thrift rounds today I found this cast iron skillet. Appears to be a single notch
#7 , possibly Lodge or some maker using Lodge like identifiers. Please correct my
guess if needed. Also, please...

Re: Griswold Sun Dial Project

D Madden,

I too like the sundial.... I vote for bare iron (seasoned ?). Classic. On a pedestal would be perfect. Nice buy.

Re: Weekend Iron

Fred....

Too me your best pick up is the single spout. We found one last year
and it has turned it to our go-to everyday user skillet. I wish I could find
some more ! Well done.

Re: Unknown Wood Handled 10 1/2" Griddle

Sean...

I don't know if this helps.... your handle bears a strong resemblance to
those found on a couple of my Le Creuset pieces. The handle wood is Teak.

Re: Not Sure What I Found.... #8 Griddle.

Follow-up....

Finished clean-up...did not take it to the
nth degree as this will be a user, not a display
piece. No new epiphany's revealed.... did find
the letter "X" alongside the "8" and...

Not Sure What I Found.... #8 Griddle.

At a local thrift today...debated whether to pick this or not. It appears (by handle design)
to possibly be of Wagner manufacture. The visible alpha numerical designations are 9,F,8,31,S.

Re: Copco Blue Enameled Sauce Pot

GT,

Agree, still looks good. I don't believe I've ever seen the enamel loss
under the lid handle like this piece displays. Good price. Enjoy .

My First Chasseur.......

This will win no beauty pageants. I found this at an

surface is immaculate....
