Just Cooking in the CI is Best Seasoning

It seems to me that after the initial seasoning, nothing cures a pan like using them! :chuckle:

Could Potassium Hydroxide (potash) be used rather than lye.
"Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) and Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) are almost interchangeable. They are the most chemically similar of the hydroxides....
