What Is Your Ugliest Pan?
2 Attachment(s)
Maybe a dumb idea, but how many of us have a skillet or so thats isnt worth anything due to condition, like pitting, but that we use and refuse to destroy? I have a few ugly Wapaks, but the "worst" one is a #7 slant logo skillet that looks like it had a grinder taken to it, but the inside is very good.

I have a favorite #3 that is smooth as silk to cook 2 eggs in for a sandwich. Problem is the crack in the paper thin side wall. Ill use it till it dies.

I also have a Wapak #12 that was pitted very bad. After a few years of use, the pitting is filling in fairly good.....I use it all the time too. Someone else out there has to have a "bad" skillet. A face only a Mother could love.

I planed for this to be one of my every day users but put it up for auction just to see what it would bring. It brought me way more than I thought so down the road it went. I hope somebody’s using this!

I would use that baby! That pitting might fill in some, but a great user Id say.

This first pan I ever bought is a #8 Griswald.
After cleaning I found it had a crack on the side wall. After 5 years of every day use be my Wife or myself it looks and cooks great :-) |
Re: What Is Your Ugliest Pan?
Griswold LBL #8;chrome finish is mostly worn off, warped bottom, ugly!! I use it at least once a day and the cooking surface is darn near perfect.
