I'm not sure there's a definitive time line anywhere on Le Creuset design changes. The most recent models have the Signature Series larger handles. Those without LE CREUSET embossed in one of the raised rings on the tops of lids are older than those that do. Current roasters have fully enameled bottoms, as opposed to the non-enameled but clear-glazed bottoms. At some point, bottoms had ridges and were fully enameled.
