Wagner double skillet

I recently bought this Wagner double I restored it and love it was wondering about age since it has pat# on bottom. have never seen one with pat#

Here is the first patent number on your pan which you will see is a Griswold patent.

And the second number on your pan:

These two patent numbers were both used by Griswold and Wagner on some of their double skillets.

You will see the same two patent numbers on a few Griswold double skillets, one Wagner patent and one Griswold patent. I wonder if the two companies worked together, cooperated, or paid the other for the use of their patent.

makes you wonder doesn't it. I could understand if it was when Wagner bought Griswold but those pats are way older than that
