I’m pretty new to cast iron Doug. I did a quick google search and found the Wagner info.
So please tell me how to tell it’s a BSR….

So please tell me how to tell it’s a BSR….
With very few exceptions, Wagner did not do inset heat rings. Their #3 skillets, marked or unmarked, were also all smooth-bottomed. They were also pretty good about centering their size numbers, and their pattern letters are smaller than the size number. With BSR, the telltale characteristics are the inset heat ring and the shape of the ridge on the underside of the handle.
