Unmarked cast iron, Let's see who knows their stuff.

Please help me find out who is the likely maker and year it was built. A little background story, I purchased this with a single notch lodge and an old, marked Wagner. The cast has Imperfections around the mold, the sides, and inside the skillet. No markings on the back just heat ring. Also, A raised 8 on the handle. Any idea you believe who makes it?20240310_225206[1703 low.jpg

good job Doug, I believe you may be correct. The skillet weighs nice and light 4lb and cooks well. Do we have any time frame these types of skillets were made?

A question that knowing who made them would do much to help answer. Characteristics like small pour lips and distinct handle reinforcement and ridge feel late 1800s-ish. Overall pan shape with inset heat ring more early 1900s-ish.
