The Foster Line No 8 Cast Iron Skillet

My brother has "commissioned" me to strip and re-season the skillet in the photo below.
I am unfamiliar with The Foster Line other than they used to make cast iron stoves and later got into the pots & pans business.
My questions:
Are these considered common place?
Roughly when were they made?
I would love you input!

Foster stove of ironton ohio... but I have no idea of the timeline of the different markings... I've seen pieces marked like this one... some marked 'ironage', some with just text like the griswold iron mountain chicken pan, and some just marked 'No. 8' on the lids.
