Got a question for anyone, I am new to the site and everything I have seen is helpful..thanks.. found this today at a thrift shop and noticed the 9 at 3 o’clock with a dot directly below it. And the handle suspiciously resembling a volrath. I cannot find any photos of it in either the blue or red book or the internet without a heat ring..I see the past conversations and I am more curious..this seems to be in good condition, sits flat,I guess I will see after getting the thick seasoning off. Any input greatly appreciated..

Vollrath did make some smooth bottom pans, how many I'm not sure. I have a #8 smooth bottom that I found at a resale shop a few years back. It was being used to collect the rain water from the leaky roof.
