Seeking valuation on Excelsior #8 skillet

That would be considered a handled griddle. The RB features the brand and suggested value was $60-75 in its last printing 20 years ago. Doubtful that they come up on eBay often enough to get a good idea of a present day value. Good that the TM survived sulfur pitting well enough to remain legible.
The handle is very distinct. I want to say that I've seen these occasionally, but I can't say for sure. I will certainly keep my eyes open.
unmarked versions of these (both griddles and skillets) are fairly common in my area and I buy them cheap if they look like they will clean up well (no cracks, minimal pitting on the bottoms)... but I think any of these old bottom gated pieces that are marked will command much higher prices than the unmarked versions... I'd say 80-100 on this griddle.
