Did Griswold manufacture the large lamb mold 947 & 948 with vent holes in the back? This is the only picture that I have of the back and suspect that the vent holes were added by a previous owner.

Question about large lamb mold

Just wanted to say that I have both the Lamb and Rabbit "Authentic" Griswold molds and both have vent holes in them. Did a quick search on eBay and found that most all the original looking molds all have vent holes. Know that the Griswold Lamb, Rabbit. and Sant molds were all duplicated and there's probably a lot of fakes floating around. Wouldn't say that your Lamb mold is the real deal but I am almost positive that vent holes were common on all of the Griswold molds. Check out the listings and you will spot them.
