Please help me identify this pan

I'm not really a collector per se, I grab up these pots and pans at a local antique dealer (Cline's in Mt. Pleasant, NC-a picker's dream-look it up!), clean them up the best I can and give them to friends. I get a couple here and there on EBay, but still geared towards giving the finished piece to a friend who will USE the item.
Part of the reward for me is to research the make and year of the item. That has been as rewarding as the cleaning process.
This site is the best! So far I've found an answer to every question. But this piece confounds me a bit. It's totally unmarked. The size sems to be a 5. The handle shows three distinctive dots that look (to my newbie eye) like foundry marks, not flaws. The inner surface is smooth and it has some heft.
So what is it?
Like I said, I'm not looking for value, just identification. Plus since I'm giving it to a friend, I don't want to give away junk.

Thanks!

I think the best guess on this one is unmarked Wagner. The handle and the hammering style appear to be consistent.
