I bought an interesting piece of cast iron labeled “beer mug.” It possibly had enamel on the inside at one time because there are some white spots that cannot be removed with baking soda & elbow grease. It holds a little over 5 cups. I’ve only found one similar but the owner inherited it and had no further information. There is a Pilsen area in Chicago, IL where people from Pilsen Czechoslovakia had settled and brought their metallurgy skills. Anyone have any further information or suggestions as to where to research next? I’d love a good story to go with this piece.
