North Chase & North cauldron

Hello...I have a vintage cast iron cauldren marked: NORTH CHASE,NORTH, PHILADELPHIA . 25 G. It has 3 legd and a flat top handle on each side.It is very heavy. I am trying to find out the value of this piece. IS THERE ANYONE WHO WOULD HELP?...Thanks!!...Chuck

It's hard to establish a value on an old piece such as that when one person might get one for $20 at a garage sale and another might pay $500 at an auction (speaking hypothetically). Finding a large enough sample of prices actually paid on a rarely seen antiquity to determine a "going price" is next to impossible.

Very cool! I'd love to have such a piece (I have a waffle iron from that foundry). But I wouldn't want to pay shipping on such a heavy piece.
