Bought this today at Goodwill. Of course the actual Dutch oven itself doesn’t look like any Griswold I’ve ever seen. Could someone please help me identify it?
The photo you have posted (1372) is a very common bail attachment design for the Griswold Flat Bottom Kettle. You might want to finish cleaning the bottom to see if there is I.D. marks. I have included a link to a listing on eBay that shows the attachment on a #9, P/N 812 LBL, E.P.U. which I believe is the same type bail attachment as yours. I also have an old BSR flat bottom kettle that has a similar attachment for the handle so it may be that there are others that look the same.
Here's the link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3049200416...rmxdYueMirxHjwA7oSFY8cow==|tkp:Bk9SR7yMmcfzYg
Oops...I was looking at one pot and copied the link for a #7, P/N 810 LBL,E.P.U. but none the less they both have the same bail attachment. Sorry about that.
