My sister bought a skillet at a vintage mall yesterday and would like some help with an ID. I didn't see anything like it on this site to ID unmarked cast iron.

Outside diameter at the top is 8". Length including handle is 13". Diameter of the heat ring is 5". The dimensions are close to my Griswold #5.

There are no apparent markings but a trip through the e-tank may show something.

Anyone have an idea to ID it?

To my eye it's modern from Asia.

I was thinking maybe Asia but most of what I've seen from there has a rougher inside. I won't rule it out though.

One just like it marked Taiwan. Yours probably says same under the crud.

Can anyone please help identify this pan (company/date of manufacture/quality/value)?

I have attached pictures.

Distinguishing attributes - light weight, 'Taiwan' and a number 2 printed underneath, spiral ridges on the cooking side - yet very smooth.

Any help would be appreciated.
