Molasses soak / Vinegar bath ?

I’m fully aware and have use vinegar bath for years, at times, pretty time consuming. Considering a molasses soak 2gal to 20gal.
Wondering if anyone has tried molasses soak and your outcome ?
Was considering using on DO in photo, other suggestions welcome I don’t use etank, only lye bath.

How long is the molasses solution good for ?

I doubt its longevity would be comparable to lye. Being a biological reaction, I'd expect a batch of the solution to be spent rather quickly. Fortunately, a solution only needs to be 10%.

I just did a M soak for the first time and I really liked the results. The metal was in fantastic shape with absolutely no erosion or pitting from the solution. Needed some elbow grease still with some of the thick carbon but for rust it worked exceptionally well. Also I have gardens with food growing all around my house and shed to having something non toxic to dump is a huge plus for me.
