Is This Griswold?

Is this an actual Griswold or made by someone else. It looks like a No 8 ERIE but there is no ERIE on it?

Other than a 1st series, an Erie skillet with a distinct reinforced rim profile but no handle reinforcement pad would seem unlikely. My first impression looking at the bottom was more of earlier Favorite, whether unmarked by them or a copy by someone else..
