Identify chicken fryer with vertical grooves on exterior

Hello cast iron friends.

Does anyone recognize the maker of this chicken fryer? The unique features are 2 grooved (inset) vertical lines on the exterior in each of the 3,6,9 and 12 o'clock positions.

Thanks in advance for your input. 5 pictures included that also show the base, grooves and handle to help.

Long sought after but still no ID as to maker. The matching lid also has the "ribbons". There is a DO with the same decoration. Also a hammered DO with ghosts of the ribbons. They are allegedly tied to the (also unknown) maker of what are termed "pointy handle" skillets, although this CF does not have that style handle. Some liken this CF's handle style to BSR, but it is not made by them. The hammered DO mentioned is known to have been sold by Montgomery Ward. See:

If there's one thing I can't do...
It's ID Hammered iron.

Well thank you Doug. It's always good to learn something new. The "ribbons" is a great description and I appreciate the link that shows the lid.

The handle on mine is not as "pointy" as the other pictures I have just found but I think you've linked the manufacturer well.
