How old?

Picked this up today.
I'm sure there's no way to identify who made it but please help me confirm the approximate date.
I'm thinking late 1800s due to the bottom gate mark.

Also, the style of bail and assist ring attachments, the font of the 8, and the feet tend to indicate pre-20th century. But BSR and Lodge (and I assume others) were still making this type of pot with the same characteristics into the 1930s, so it had not totally gone out of style by the start of the 20th. But I think most would place it mid to late 1800s..

I've not seen one with this style assist ring before.
