Highland Foundry skillet

I have what appears to be a Highland Foundry skillet from Boston. The bottom is marked "8 & 9 H F Co." and "PAT'd June 10, 1879" with a heat ring and a gate mark. It's in very good condition with no cracks, rust, wobble or spin. Can someone please give me a ballpark as to the value of this piece? Thanks. Joe

I think that falls into the category of 'fancy handle' and those tend to sell pretty high these days... $150 + depending on condition. not sure how much higher it could be than that... but some of the 'fancy handle' pans have been selling in the 250-300 range.

"Fancy Handle" is a category? Good to know. I heard that Highland Foundry items are rare and sell fairly high. Are 'fancy handles' just made by Highland or are there other manufacturers?
