New Member - thanks for having me!
Joined to get a little background info and research on Cast Iron.
My father-in-law recently passed away and left behind a small collection of Ironware.

I have 13 pieces of Griswold.
And 9 pieces of Wagner.
And hundreds of misc. pieces.

Before I contact any Auctioneers, I figured I'd ask a few questions here first :)
Once again, thanks for having me.

Pamela

I forgot to add a few pics of the misc. ironware.
I'm hoping to get some help identifying some of these :)

First of all sorry for your loss. Wow your father-in-law had a eye for some nice things. Wish I was closer. You have some nice iron and other antiques that you have shown. Condition is everything, by that I mean cracked and or broken. Looking at your photos I do not see rust that would be of concern, and the finish on the cast iron pieces is great. Find yourself an Auctioneer that sells similar antiques and advertises. An antique dealer will not give you top $$, and do not sell to the first person that offers you $4,000.00 Early crocks, nautical items, cigar boxes, cow bells, musical instruments hold value. How do I know this, because I have sold things of this nature and more. I also like the 2 board table, so I am sure there is a lot that we can not see that is of the same quality $$.
