Help with unknown hammered skillet

It's not one of the ones usually called "hammered ugly unknown", as it appears well made. The handle is similar to some old Lodges, but their hammered pieces had smaller dimples and a heat ring.

Exactly, must have looked at hundreds of skillets on the net and couldn't fid a match. Must be one of a kind LOL . 3 bucks at my thrift store, thanks for your input, driving me crazy

Have you done any research of P. & B. Mfg. located in Nashville Tenn. ? I have a waffle iron made by them and if I didn;t know better I would swear that it was a Lodge if not for the fact that it was labeled P & B Mfg. Our CIC data base says they made a full line of cast iron cook ware and that only a few pieces were marked. Just a guess..... Just clean it up and then you can say you have a piece that {possibly} no one else has.

I don't know if P&B existed long enough to have participated in the hammered CI period of popularity, late 1930s-40s.
