Help identifying round cast iron piece

I found a cast iron piece today at a local thrift store and I'm looking for help identifying it. It's roughly the size of a No. 7 skillet in diameter. Looks to have channels for draining oils and juices and pour spouts. There aren't any visible markings on either side. I'm guessing it is a stove top grill, but I could be off the mark on this one as I've never seen one of these exact pieces before. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, any thoughts on what purpose the three nubs serve? Thanks in advance!

Google Lens turns up several similar described as "Genghis Khan pan" or part of a tabletop Japanese hibachi grill. And one identical from a Japanese website, but it has two nubs on the handles(?).
