Griswold gem pans

Made it into town and picked these up today. One is a Griswold #11 variation 8 and the other I think is a #10 variation 4 although from the dark pictures texted to me though it might have been variation 2 before I saw it.

Mine has a dot after the NO as well as after the 10 and before the ERIE. I don't see this in the book and it probably doesn't make a different.

Am I right about the variation 4?

Link fixed. The https needs to be changed to http to prevent the security certificate error.

The extra dots are probably just casting anomalies. Looks like it matches variation 4 to me.

Sorry. I log in via https. As I own the ISP, I tend to use self-signed certificates. I know you guys don't know me but I trust myself. More and more, even large companies are relying on self-signed certs. I've complained about the system for close to 20 years. It costs a fortune to be included as an "trusted authority". Also, some browser occasionally bark about wildcard SSL certificates like this one.

Considering places like Network Solutions has issued bogus Microsoft certificates before, the commercial SSL system doesn't really work.

You should be able to click through the warning. I'll try to edit out the s in https. Thanks for editing the link, Doug.
