Griswold Corn or Wheat Pans Variations

I recently picked up a Griswold corn or wheat pan, No. 282 630. My pan is smooth on the bottom but in trying to research the pan online I see there was a variation of this pan with feet, same numbers on bottom though. Were these pans from different circa eras? Why were there two variations? Also, does anyone know how long these pans were in production? I would put a pic online but my pan is in my lye tank at the present time; however, I think it’s going to clean up nicely as it was in good shape.

The YB places them ca. 1930s, and calls the footed style version 2 (of 2). So I assume it is considered later, and that would make sense. The YB also says the footed version is harder to find, even though it assigns both versions a rarity value of 8 (moderately high). Perhaps the feet were added not long before discontinuance. Catalogs from the 1920s and 30s show corn and corn/wheat stick pans, but earlier ones do not. I would expect they lasted at least into the early 1940s.
