Hello,

Below are photos of my granddad's skillet.

Thoughts on manufacturer and age?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Henry

Looks like an unmarked Wagner Ware. I could be off tho, but im sure someone will know.

Wow Henry I've got what appears to be that same pan I've been doing research on just happened to look at this forum and was amazed Also was anybody able to date this pan?

Sean,

That is my "go to" pan. Thanks for the possible manufacturing time period.

Rick,

Thanks for the note. Good to hear this thread has been useful to you. I hope you are getting plenty of usage from your pan.

Thanks,
Henry

Thank you Sean and thank you Henry! I have not used my pan yet I've got some other ones in regular service now. Thanks again

That's pretty cool.
I wasn't aware that Wagner made unbranded pans with a heat ring. I've only seen the smooth bottom.

I would also think that it's a lot older than 1960.
But obviously, I don't know that much.

Either way. Nice pan.

The pre-mid-1960s assessment overlooked the heat ring. Pre-1935 would be more a more accurate generalization.
