Good morning... take a look at my Grandma's fryer...

I never really paid much attention to this old cast iron frying pan. We use it every day. It was my Mother's... she inherited it from my Grand-Mother on my Dad's side.

I was born in 1952, in very rural south Alabama. A photo of the very house I grew up in is attached.

My Grand-Parents were Pete & Ida Lee Lolley. Pete died in 1944, and Ida Lee lived with us, after that, passing in 1954-55, when I was 3-4 years old.

Dad was born in 1909, and Mom in 1918... we were a sharecropper family... dirt poor. Mom used to cook in this pan on an old cast-iron wood stove.

Dad died of a hear-stroke in 1968, and Mom passed in 1994... This old frying pan was the only thing I wanted... she did not have anything, anyway.

Any way, I thought I would put this out here for any input on the item... age, etc. It is an Erie 9...

Thanks,
Joe
