Something you don’t see everyday. Foundry patterns for the stove doors on a cast iron cooking stove. A matched set of left and right too. 1AB5A31F-0258-4682-8FE1-26BB1BB01092.jpeg295F9ED9-1D85-40D1-ACFB-6CD612FB6DE6.jpeg67E4AF08-0AD8-4992-8EC7-5A77DA361637.jpeg83AC5CC9-7C0E-4006-9061-25D4526C9F96.jpeg1D4F94BB-EA3D-472B-9FE3-1B6E467D424E.jpeg

Master patterns. The aluminum working patterns would have been cast from these. Or perhaps, in the case of fine castings, a master first in brass to make the working patterns from.

I have one for a large 12" diameter, 5" thick gear.

Never seen anything like this, but its cool! I had Foundry Shop in school, we melted metal and made stuff i form, kinda like these I guess, but sand.
