Eye Candy for the flame Broiled Steak Lover

Still looking for the flame Broiled Steak Lover.

A little food for thought. The base of the round broiler looks like it would fit inside of the eye of a cook stove. And all the fats would stay on the top of the broiler.

That sure appears to be how it worked. Might have had a tin domed cover.

Steve, did you see the square one in my photo link, I have 2 of them.

Did you ever here of a 2 piece cast iron broiler, top & bottom name of Russells April 9, 1867 It did not say Russell & Erwin.

Glad that you did hear of the Russell broiler. Thank you for the patent info. What would you think a value would be for the Russell?

I can't answer that question Jeffrey as I have been out of the iron cookware buying/selling market for so long. Much depends on condition and it complete and you have to find someone who collects broilers or unusual pieces which I did.
