Electrolysis Before and After

This was my first attempt at electrolysis. I am amazed at how well this old kettle cleaned up.

Looks like the gunk and dirt served well to keep the iron insulated from the elements over the years. Nice and shiny, good work!

I was pretty happy with it. I found one small crack once it was clean, at the top of the spout.
