E-Tank Cleaning

A few question about E-Tanks:

-Is the solution as caustic as a lye bath?
-How often should it be changed?
-How do you dispose of it?

I’ve got my third pan in there now. The anodes (rebar) are very rusty. But they would be that way just sitting in water for 3 days.

A few question about E-Tanks:

-Is the solution as caustic as a lye bath? Not at all.
-How often should it be changed? When cleaning efficiency appears to drop or whenever you feel like it.
-How do you dispose of it? It's not hazardous. Down the drain (except for the residual gunk in the bottom), or in a ditch.
