Crispy Corn bread pan

Now are some #'s more collectable than others. I've noticed that some say cornorwheat and some just corn. And i'm guessing the bottom number usually doesn't mean anything other than the mold number but what does the top number mean? And thanks for the help.

The Griswold #273/930 Corn Stick pan is probably the most common Griswold stick pan. 273 is the pan number (denoting the design and size); 930 the pattern number. You don't see many (if any on some) letters after the pattern numbers on Griswold gem pans. The #273 only say "Corn", while others (not #273s) are seen with "Whole Wheat" or the variation "Corn Or Wheat". Values of the different Griswold stick, muffin or gem pans are generally dictated by rarity or elaborateness of design.

See: http://www.castironcollector.com/gems.php#griswold for a gallery of gem & muffin pans.

So that means there's 272 different types of bread pans out there?
